Not only will we “Stand” with Stupak … we will “Kneel” with Stupak!!!
Most believe the health care vote is expected to be Friday or Saturday. The fight for the protection of life will be won on our knees in prayer and fasting.
This Thursday evening, 7:00 PM at St. Mary’s of Pine Bluff, there will be a special Pro-Life Mass offered, with 40 Hours Devotion to follow. This is a special time of prayer and fasting with the intention of protecting pro-life values in health care legislation. Come, and bring the entire family to pray. Please help spread the word!!!
As Bishop Loverde wrote,
“Catholic teaching tells us that our support for the dignity of life includes access to affordable health care. This support, however, cannot come at the expense of the respect for life at all stages, from natural conception to natural death.”

We call upon St. Joseph, who brought his family to safety in Egypt, and whose feast we celebrate this Friday: Through your intercession, may God guide and protect all human life from conception to natural death, and lead this nation in the ways of truth and of love.
