QUEEN OF VICTORY, PRAY FOR US!!!

From today’s Gospel, celebrating Our Lady of the Rosary: “For nothing is impossible with God” (Luke 1:37).

Gabriel’s blessed assurance to our Lady speaks of God’s way throughout salvation history. Just when all seems lost, or just when we thought we were far too unworthy for God’s blessings, THAT’S EXACTLY the time God steps in!  God wants there to be no mistaking that it was HIS Divine intervention that brought about the right results.

We’re facing potential economic disaster, and it is looking tough for the future of millions more unborn innocents, with the direction the election seems to be going. But this is just when God steps in, IF we call upon Him. Let us fall to our knees together!!!

This from the story of the Battle of Lepanto, on this day, October 7, 1571:

But in the end, it was God, through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, who indeed gave the Don John the victory. When the fleet entered the Bay of Lepanto they had the wind in their faces. The galley slaves struggled to power the fleet into battle, while the much larger Muslim fleet rested and waited with the wind in its favor. But as Don John and his officers knelt in prayer beneath the blue banner of the Holy League, the wind suddenly changed, the Christian sails filled and Our Lady’s host was now suddenly bearing down upon the Turks.

When we get on our knees, God brings the winds of “Righteous Change!” … He brings a momentum shift, or “Game Changer.”

Today, as we recall the Battle of Lepanto, we celebrate yet another of God’s “Game Changers” for the underdog. Let’s pray that God, with the powerful intercessory prayers of Our Lady, will shift the favor away from the “Armada of Death” to the humble and faithful Anawim who plead for His Divine Intervention.

Let it be Your will that You chose this day, October 7, as we celebrate Our Lady of Victory, to be the day You chose to shift the winds of momentum in favor of “Righteous Change!” Nevertheless, Thy will be done.
